public services website awarded

last thursday the public services of blieskastel and area got their website awarded as 1st of the KEG award and so did the company that produced this website.. From more than 100 competitors, the jury selected three that would be nominated on reverse order on this evening. It made us really proud when we went in front of the people to fetch the deed. The awards show was in Saarbrücken and it was a good day to meet old professionals/friends again.

the website was produced by novacore, the media agency run by my former study mate Ben with who I worked as freelancer to help to concept and setup the awarded web site. We had many hours of conception in the beginning of the project and now exactly this concept is one plus point in the review, among many others.

The winning website of  ”stadtwerke bliestal has been realized in TYPO3, with strict focus on usability and customer goals.

awards in hands

At the awards show we could talk to the backend editors that we had trained months ago and they still are very confident with the modifications. This shows, once again, that the best way to create a site, is to know what the customers want, build up the page in steady dialogue and train the person in charge for good. It was an interesting project, at all.

Nina made some pictures of this evening which you can have a look at here.

You can have a look at all 1st winners of every German Federal Land and even vote for your personal favourite on the neg-website. You can see that even this website obviously is running on a TYPO3 system. Straight on!
